He always wanted to be a newspaper reporter. Every day he walked around Prague with two photocameras around his neck, taking photographs of childen, the pretty women of Prague, the nooks of Mala Strana and Old Town and that which had newly appeared in Prague. He dedicated much of his time to photographing sports in all forms, as well. And even while learning practically all the mystiques of photography in his years, he never understood it as art, but rather as a well-trained craft. This was also his creed: to craft his work.
